Judges!

Part one

Name of photographer is Melissa Golden.

Her general focus was to tell you the truth I really don’t know she had all different types of pictures and stories.

Three problems the judges saw was that some her pictures did not really catch your attention, they had no story to her pictures, and they were not in right focus I guess.

Two things the judges like was laughing at some of her pictures that were good but funny, and one in the story that was great with the black and white the glasses they guy had one reflected some light and his eyes told the story.

My impression was her pictures were okay but no story and I really like the picture the judges liked, also the first picture, and the one with the tree the boy with a fishing pole by like a swamp.

The winner

The judges noticed the strength of his photos is that his pictures tell a story and no one is looking at the camera and they are all action.

I think his strength is his angles.

I think his weakness is he has too much some times.

What the judges had to go through to pick the winner is that they had to go through each portfolio and each picture again and kind of keep a mental score.

Part two

I agreed with the judges on Melissa Goldens picture with the old man with the glasses.

I did not agree with the judges on Justin Mott’s photos they said that he was using the same like concept and I don’t think he was.

Febuary 8 ,2008.....new student!

The difference between an formal, informal, and enviromental portrait is that i really have no idea what those types are so therefore i do not know what the eyes tell me, or the backround, or the position of the body. And i do not know about the lighting of the shot or portrait because i am new to all this and i dont know what this is talking about.
